Data Deletion Instructions

1. How to Delete Your Account in the App
- Open the Kanboombo mobile app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account Actions.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your password and submit.
Once confirmed, your account is deactivated immediately and queued for permanent deletion.
2. Alternative Deletion Request (Email)
If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email associated with your account. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
3. Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: session revocation and login disablement.
- Within 30 days: permanent deletion from active systems.
- Backups: encrypted backups are rotated out in the normal retention cycle.
4. What Is Deleted
We delete personal data tied to your account, including:
- Profile data (name, email, account preferences)
- Productivity data (check-ins, events, notes, tasks, project content)
- Linked authentication identifiers (where technically feasible)
5. What May Be Retained
We may retain limited records when legally required (for example, anti-fraud or tax/accounting records), and only for the minimum period required by law.
6. Meta Platform Compliance
These instructions are provided to satisfy Meta platform requirements for user data deletion. If you connected Kanboombo through a Meta product integration, this page is the canonical endpoint describing how deletion requests are handled.
