1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kanboombo application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kanboombo is a productivity platform that combines time tracking, Kanban-style project management, calendar views, and AI-assisted features. The Service is available via mobile apps (iOS, Android), web browsers, and desktop applications.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address or sign in through a supported third-party provider (Apple, Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without our written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service (events, notes, tasks, check-ins, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to operating the Service.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Kanboombo offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the beginning of each billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. Refunds are provided at our discretion.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app. Upon deletion:

• All active sessions are immediately revoked
• Your account enters a 30-day soft-delete grace period
• After 30 days, your data is permanently and irreversibly removed
• If you signed in with Apple, our access to your Apple ID is revoked

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Kanboombo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. AI Features

The Service includes optional AI-powered features (chat, suggestions, analysis). AI outputs are generated by third-party models and are provided "as-is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI output before acting on it.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party providers (Apple, Google, Stripe, Sentry). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kanboombo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kanboombo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and revising the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Kanboombo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Meta Platform Terms Notice

If you connect Kanboombo to Meta services, your use of those integrations is also subject to applicable Meta platform terms and policies. You may request deletion of Kanboombo account data using our Data Deletion Instructions.
